Matsya Setu App has species-wise/subject-wise self-learning online course modules, where renowned aquaculture experts are involved in breeding, seed production of commercially important fish like carp, catfish, scampi, murals, ornamental fish, pearl farming etc. and explain basic concepts and practical demonstrations on grow-out culture. In the course platform - better management practices for maintaining the quality of soil and water, food and health management in aquaculture operations was also provided. Along with additional learning material, the modules are divided into short video chapters for the convenience of the learners. Quiz/test options for self-assessment are also provided, to motivate the learners and provide a vibrant learning experience. On successful completion of each course module, an e-certificate can be generated automatically. Farmers can also ask their doubts and get specific advice from experts through the app.
