1. Parliament passed the Medical Termination of Pregnancy (Amendment) Bill -2020?

The Medical Termination of Pregnancy Bill-2020 has been passed in Parliament. There is a provision to increase the abortion limit to 24 weeks. Earlier women could get abortions up to a maximum of 20 weeks. Dr. Harsh Vardhan said that this bill was prepared after discussion with all possible stakeholders and a provision has been made in it that the proposed law should not be misused.


2. The Central Government approved the draft Bill to set up a Development Finance Institute?

The proposed bill is to implement this declaration. The government has proposed a capital of Rs 20,000 crore for this new institute. Giving information about the decision after the cabinet meeting, Sitharaman said that the cabinet has approved the bill for the formation of the DFI.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman proposed a New Development Finance Institution in Budget 2021. He told that 100 percent ownership of this institution will be with the government. Initially, the government will have 100 percent stake in (DFI).

4. Moderna started vaccine testing on children, learn in detail
